This policy explains what we do with personal information. It covers this website and our contact with families and carers. It is written to be read, not to be impenetrable — if anything is unclear, ask us.

What we collect, and why
When you enquire about care
Through our enquiry, consultation and callback forms we collect your name, telephone number, email address, the area you are in, who needs care, the type of support you are asking about, when it may be needed, how you prefer to be contacted, and anything you choose to write in the message box.
We use this to respond to your enquiry and to arrange a consultation. Nothing more.
We deliberately do not ask for medical information on this website. Please do not include diagnoses, medication or detailed care needs in a web form. Those are special category data under UK GDPR, and they belong in a conversation with our care team, recorded properly, with your explicit consent.
When you download the guide
Your first name and email address, and your telephone number if you choose to give it.
When you apply for a carer role
Your name, contact details, experience, availability, right-to-work confirmation and anything you write about yourself.
When you use the website
Essential cookies that make the site work. Analytics only if you have accepted them — see our cookie policy.

Who we share information with
- Our email provider, to deliver messages to you and to us.
- Our hosting and database providers, who store the data securely on our behalf.
- Healthcare and social care professionals — only where you have asked us to, or where there is a safeguarding concern or a legal obligation.
- Professional advisers and regulators, where we are required to.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Where data is held
Our systems are hosted within the UK or the European Economic Area wherever possible. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Care enquiries — reviewed at 24 months. Enquiries that did not lead to care are anonymised after 12 months.
- Guide downloads and marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe, then removed.
- Carer applications — 12 months from application, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Care records — retained in line with the statutory requirements that apply to care providers. [TO CONFIRM — align with your registered retention schedule.]
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you using automated processing or profiling.

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
